Introduction
Dr. Mateusz Dzikowski, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois, where he has been practicing psychology for nearly 10 years. Dr. Dzikowski participates in PSYPACT and APIT, which allows me to provide secure teletherapy to patients across 40+ U.S. states and territories.

Dr. Dzikowski is the founder of Veritas Psychology PLLC, a practice dedicated to offering therapy that respects both science and Catholic faith. Dr. Dzikowski founded Veritas Psychology PLLC as a way to bring together his clinical expertise, Catholic faith, and commitment to accessible teletherapy. Establishing this practice has allowed Dr. Dzikowski to focus fully on evidence-based therapy, while serving patients across multiple states.

Education
Dr. Dzikowski earned his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He then pursued graduate studies at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Dzikowski earned his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in 2014.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Dzikowski has worked in a wide-range of professional settings and with diverse patient populations. His professional background includes:
- Providing outpatient psychotherapy in group practice environments.
- Assisting with psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Performing evaluations and assessments in intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs.
- Serving on interdisciplinary teams, including crisis prevention and support services.
- Consulting with external providers such as psychiatrists, hospital staff, and inpatient care teams to coordinate treatment and support continuity of care.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Dzikowski’s primary clinical interest is in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). His doctoral dissertation focused on OCD treatment for Catholic patients, particularly those experiencing religious guilt and doubt.
